人 (2020)
60x180cm Acrylic on Canvas
“Rén” - A Chinese Mandarin word meaning “Person”
Collectivism and the enormity of social gatherings make it necessary for the Chinese people to learn from each other, share knowledge and express soulful gratitude.
The Chinese character “人”, meaning “person”, is seen repeatedly in this art piece. Each individual stroke is connected and simultaneously directed towards the central circle, gathering them all and thus, symbolizing collectivism, showcasing the circle of life that is often craved among communities in today’s chaotic world.
Domino (2020)
50x70cm Acrylic & Chalk on Canvas
We know the meaning of phrases like, “the feel of the community” or “the excitement in the air” in something called emotion contagion. Even in a crowd of strangers, emotion contagion makes us feel what the rest of the group feels. For years, we encounter sayings like “surround yourself with the good-energy people, things and activities”, because it all falls back as a domino.

Double Sided II (2020)

It’s funny how people perceive others by what their own preference. However, one holds much more depth than their black-and-white profiles, making this world an unfolded book of many chapters.
Grey Matter (2020)
60x50cm Acrylic on Canvas
Behind closed eyelids existed her own universe with everything she can touch, feel, sense, or measure. It aligned her planets, stars, galaxies, light, and even time. With that, she led a beautiful life.
Collective Reality (2020)
50x60cm Acrylic & Chalk on Canvas
The boy behind the mask realizes that this is an illusion. A secure life is what he desires but understands the global realm in this pandemic, so he puts the mask on to protect himself from the outdoors, but far more important, to protect the world from his indoors.
Edge of the Cliff (2020)
50x60cm Acrylic on Canvas
Here he was, standing at the edge of a cliff when he suddenly had the thought ‘what if I jump?’ A surge of anxiety rushes through his mind. His body shifted into high gear in this high-pressure situation and the fight-or-flight instinct kicked in. That was his body’s response to fear, he felt like he is losing his composure and his mind starts slipping again and again and again… This is when he asked himself, “what is my purpose?” He took a step back, welcomed pressure, opened his eyes and lived on.

Third Culture Kid (2019)

1 (2019)
8x8in Acrylic on Canvas
Lost in the crowd, he navigated towards the beacon of light, shining from a single source. He has never seen a light so familiar, he recognized as his own. Searching through the sea of crowds, it was her, the soul he has been searching for a lifetime. In this instant, two halves became one.
Elevate (2019)
60x90cm Acrylic on Canvas
A gust of wind came from the ocean where she stood with her mother by her side. They walked along the shore and felt the cool breeze prickle their skin. The water moved steady, and they let the water reach their ankles. Their hair was down to their shoulders, flying back by the wind. Her mother lays her hand on her daughter’s shoulders, and they both gaze at the shining moonlight. It was this moment where they invited gratitude.

50x60cm Acrylic on Canvas
Taking in all what we observe in a day, with its blurs, fears, desires, warmth, it is the last blink in the day, the 28,800th blink, that allows us to digest the scenes and turn them into memories of a lifetime.
Arabian Woman of the Deserts (2019)
60x60cm Acrylic on Canvas
A day in the life of the Arabian woman of the deserts is often misunderstood. Chants of people’s interpretation about her personality, behaviours, views and beliefs spiral the very core of her brain and blurred what she represents. She took a deep breath and meditated until she was resolute about who she is without societal whispers. Her history wandered her mind until her unwavering power struck in. The tranquil soul of the Arabian woman of the deserts swerved all the toxicities and gave her everlasting reassurance of what she represents.
Overthinking (2020)
50x70cm Acrylic on Canvas
At war again, me and my mind
Wondering what else I can find,
A war fought with one’s own
But one that is not easily won.
With thoughts running so deeply
Glimpsing for hope so dearly
Silence, peace at last,
When conscience said, “not that fast”.
In Her Eye (2018)
40x50cm Acrylic on Canvas
There’s a story in her eye
Dreaming, while the world goes by
Her dreams lining realities in waiting
Setting her soul on fire, flaming
Planting the seed of the future
Hunting the vision set for her.
It is her realities to hire
Won’t let them float by her.
Similar Difference (2019)

Sliding Emotions (2018)
60x90cm Acrylic on Canvas
Anything we want in our lives is caused by us matching our vibration to what we want. It’s really up to us to control our vibration and where it is headed by placing our emotions on the sliding scale of where we are and what we want.
Wherever we are on the sliding scale of emotions is either moving us towards empowerment or away from it. Let us manifest the things we want, and let the colors bloom to where we ought to grow.
World (2019)
40x50cm Acrylic on Canvas
This whole world is full of surprises. Sometimes, these surprises are good, and sometimes, these are bad. Some surprises are good for someone, but the same could be bad for anyone else. Live a simple world, they said, and the world will live true to you.
